All UK motorists, including those in Erith and the surrounding Bexley and Bexleyheath area, have an obligation to book in for annual MOT testing on any vehicle aged three years or over. Hearts MOT Ltd performs MOTs in the Class IV category, which covers cars that carry up to 8 people, light commercial vehicles, motor caravans, three-wheeled vehicles, quad bikes and dual-purpose vehicles. Class IV MOTs also cover ambulances, taxis and hire vehicles with up to 8 seats.
If you come from the surrounding South London or Northern Kent areas and need to book in for MOT testing at our DVSA approved workshop in Erith, please contact us on 01322 446561.
Subject to your approval, Hearts MOT Ltd can perform MOT repairs if your vehicle fails the annual inspection. We can often complete minor repairs on the same day and present your car for a free re-test. Major repairs may take a little longer, but we’ll do everything possible to get the work done quickly and to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
Our proximity to Bexley, Bexleyheath, Dartford and the surrounding areas has seen us grow into one of the region’s favourite MOT testing centres and become a trusted choice for Class IV MOTs where fairness and impartiality are always prevalent in our approach.
Our garage in Erith makes the two concepts of MOT testing and MOT repairs easier for the customer. Book in for Class IV MOTS up to a full calendar month before your current certificate expires and, if your car passes the inspection, you won’t have to visit us again for a full 13 months – unless, of course, you want to – because both certificates run separately of each other instead of concurrently.
Once you become a customer at Hearts MOT Ltd, we add you to a computerised database (a current requirement by the DVSA) and notify you well ahead of the next inspection date so you never forget to book in for MOTs.
We even make MOT repairs simple for our Erith, Bexley and Bexleyheath customers. If you leave you vehicle with us in the morning and it fails the annual MOT testing inspection, we’ll notify you immediately and tell you the reasons for failure. If you would like us to perform the repair work on your behalf, we’ll arrange an immediate quotation and, wherever possible, will look to get the work completed on the same day.
We do not charge for secondary MOTs when you have MOT repairs undertaken at our workshop. Because Hearts MOT Ltd always tries to have the repair work and re-test done on the same day as the original inspection, we always keep our customers mobile and their cars in a safe, roadworthy condition.
